On Tuesday, the National Citizen Party (NCP) held an organisational coordination meeting at the Arunima Community Centre in Khagrachhari Sadar. The event was organised by the affiliate and associate organisations of the National Citizen Party (NCP).

Nur Alam Siddiqui, the convener of the Khagrachhari branch of the National Citizen Party (NCP), presided over the organisational coordination meeting. Several notable figures from the party were in attendance alongside him to discuss regional and national organisational matters.

Among the key figures present at the gathering in Khagrachhari Sadar were Sarjis Alam, Sarwar Tushar, Ali Ahsan Junaid, SM Sujauddin, and Saleh Uddin Sifat. These leaders participated in the discussions hosted by the National Citizen Party (NCP) and its affiliate bodies.

Addressing the coordination meeting as a speaker, Sarjis Alam launched a sharp critique against the BNP. He specifically claimed that the BNP government has provided employment opportunities for extortionists, drawing significant attention during the proceedings.

Continuing his remarks at the venue in Khagrachhari Sadar, Sarjis Alam drew comparisons between the current political dynamics and the past regime of the Awami League. He stated that the BNP was previously subjected to oppression and tyranny by the Awami League using specific methods, but now the BNP itself is adopting those exact same methods.

Sarjis Alam further elaborated on the timeline of these developments during his address at the coordination meeting. He pointed out that the troubling scenes which gradually emerged during the tenure of the Awami League government are already manifesting in the case of the BNP government within a span of just six months.
