The electoral roll for this crucial parliamentary vote comprises a total voter population of 349 eligible individuals. These participating members of parliament will cast their respective ballots utilizing an open ballot system rather than a traditional secret ballot during the proceedings at the parliament building.
The race has drawn significant political attention, with three nomination papers having been initially submitted to the authorities. Following the verification and nomination phases, Dr. Oli Ahmed and Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir have emerged as the primary candidates contesting the upcoming presidential election.
