Ziaur Rahman Foundation Provides Free Eye Care to Slum Dwellers in Dhaka

The Ziaur Rahman Foundation has organized a comprehensive daylong health service program aimed at delivering essential medical assistance to vulnerable populations residing in the capital city of Dhaka. Through this charitable initiative, free eye examinations, professional medical consultations, and necessary healthcare services were extended to approximately one thousand underprivileged individuals living in local communities.

The large-scale humanitarian outreach specifically targeted residents across three major urban settlements in Dhaka, namely the Vasantek, Korail, and Sattala slums. By reaching out directly to these densely populated and disadvantaged areas, the organizers ensured that vital medical attention was made accessible to people who frequently face significant barriers to receiving proper healthcare.

The official inauguration of this notable health service program took place on Saturday, August 22. Dr. Zubaida Rahman, serving as the Vice President of the Ziaur Rahman Foundation, formally inaugurated the daylong proceedings, marking the commencement of the medical camps established to serve the local slum dwellers.
