This comprehensive review process encompasses examinations overseen by the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, the Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee, alongside the various regional and specialized boards operating across the country.

According to official data provided regarding the administrative process, a massive volume of applications was submitted by disgruntled or inquiring students. A total of 402,051 candidates under the jurisdiction of eleven different education boards submitted a combined total of 1,287,926 applications seeking the re-scrutiny of their respective answer scripts. This massive academic administrative undertaking highlights the extensive scope of the review requested by students following the initial publication of the main examination outcomes.

A detailed breakdown of the applications reveals that the vast majority of the requests pertain to theoretical papers rather than practical assessments. Specifically, exactly 1,056,455 applications were officially logged for the written (theoretical) examination answer scripts. Meanwhile, a separate total of 231,471 applications were officially submitted specifically for the practical examination answer scripts across the participating educational institutions.

Focusing on one of the largest regional jurisdictions within the country, the Dhaka Education Board alone accounted for a substantial portion of the overall administrative workload. Within the Dhaka Board, a total of 94,236 examinees submitted 277,665 separate applications for their written examinations, alongside another 58,012 applications dedicated strictly to the practical examination answer scripts.

Out of a total of more than 1.82 million registered candidates across the board system, the average pass rate for the nine general education boards, the Madrasa Education Board, and the Technical Education Board combined plummeted to 62.25 percent.
