Authorities at Dhaka University have officially included the name of Rashed Khan on the newly established honor board located inside the renovated archive of the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU). The inclusion follows a comprehensive refurbishment of the DUCSU collection space, designed to properly preserve and display the historical administrative records of the student organization for future generations.

The newly installed honor board comprehensively lists the names and tenure details of the vice-presidents (VPs) and general secretaries (GSs) who have served the organization across a century. Specifically, the commemorative display spans academic sessions starting from the 1924-1925 period and extends forward to the 2025-2026 academic session, capturing the historical evolution of student leadership at the prominent university.

This historical inclusion directly references the fiercely contested DUCSU elections held in 2019, where leadership positions were decided by significant voter turnout. During the 2019 electoral process for the vital position of General Secretary, candidate Golam Rabbi secured victory by garnering a total of 10,484 votes from the participating student electorate.

In the same 2019 general secretary race, candidate Md. Rashed Khan put up a strong electoral showing by finishing in the runner-up position. Official election statistics confirm that Rashed Khan successfully accumulated a substantial total of 6,063 votes during the polls, cementing his historical placement in the election results.
