Rashed Khan criticises Jamaat and NCP in Jhenaidah
Rashed Khan delivered critical remarks about Jamaat and the NCP following a reception event in Jhenaidah. Local BNP leaders and affiliated organisation members attended the gathering.

A reception event took place on the afternoon of Friday, August 28, at the grounds of Muraridah Government Primary School located in the sadar upazila of Jhenaidah. The gathering brought together numerous political figures and supporters to mark the occasion in the rural area of the southwestern district.
Following the conclusion of the scheduled reception ceremonies, Rashed Khan spoke to journalists gathered at the venue. During his interaction with the press, he offered pointed criticism directed at Jamaat and the NCP, drawing a direct parallel between the two political entities during his remarks.
In a notable statement during his conversation with reporters, Rashed Khan explicitly remarked, 'Those who are Jamaat, are the NCP' (যাহাই জামায়াত, তাহাই এনসিপি). This comparison highlighted his critical stance on the political alignments and identities of these organisations.
The event was attended by several prominent figures from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), demonstrating significant local political presence. Among the attendees were district BNP President MA Majid and General Secretary Zahiduzzaman Mona.
Additional leadership figures from the party were also present at the school grounds. Vice-Presidents Aktaruzzaman and Munshi Kamal Azad Pannu joined other local leaders, alongside numerous activists and members from BNP and its various associate organisations, to participate in the day's events.
