Rajbari Hosts National Cultural Competition and Opening Rally

A national cultural competition and opening rally took place in Rajbari, bringing together community members and local leaders for a day of artistic and cultural celebration. The proceedings commenced with a large rally that started from the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office in Rajbari and made its way through the streets before concluding at the Azad Maidan.

Following the procession, an opening ceremony was held at the Azad Maidan to officially launch the national cultural competition. The inauguration event was attended by notable local figures, including Rajbari Deputy Commissioner Afroza Parvin and Police Superintendent Monjur Morshed, who were present to support the regional initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, the State Minister for Culture emphasized the importance of social unity and the government's primary objectives. According to the State Minister, bringing peace to the minds of the people stands out as one of the core aims of the administration. Furthermore, the Prime Minister has explicitly instructed that no form of discrimination or division should be maintained among citizens.

Expanding on this theme of inclusivity, the State Minister noted that members of all religious communities—whether Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, or any other group—must never be subjected to manufactured divisions. The official stressed that everyone in society needs to live together harmoniously and collectively.

Adding to the dialogue on arts and community values, Ali Newaz Mahmud Khaiyam addressed the gathering regarding the fundamental role of creative expression. Khaiyam stated that music, poetry, songs, and drama serve as essential food for the human soul, making it vital to shape these artistic creations in a healthy and positive manner.

Through these cultural efforts, organizers aim to foster a smooth and people-oriented culture capable of instilling peace in everyone's mind.
