Probe Body Formed Over Unauthorized Food Distribution at Ishwarganj Hospital
Hospital authorities have formed a three-member investigation committee following the unauthorized distribution of food to admitted patients. The committee has been directed to submit its report within three working days.

Authorities at the Ishwarganj Upazila Health Complex have officially formed a three-member investigation committee to look into an incident involving the distribution of food to patients without prior official permission. The development comes in the wake of an event that took place on the premises of the Upazila Health Complex, drawing the attention of the hospital administration.
According to the official details confirmed by the health complex, the unauthorized food distribution occurred on August 14. The incident took place between approximately 4:50 pm and 5:00 pm, when several outsiders entered the facility and distributed food packets among the patients who were currently admitted to the hospital for medical care.
Subsequent reports identified the context of the food distribution as being linked to the 51st death anniversary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The initiative was reportedly organized by Imran Hasan Sizan, who serves as the vice-president of the Upazila Chhatra League, at the Ishwarganj Upazila Health Complex.
In response to the occurrence, the hospital administration took swift administrative action. A formal investigation committee was constituted, headed by Dr. Md. Morshed Alam, who holds the position of Junior Consultant in Surgery at the health complex, serving as the president of the newly formed probe body.
The formation of this committee was officially made public through a letter issued on Sunday, August 16. The official document bears the signature of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Zakir হোসাইন [Zakir হোসাইন / Hossain as per verified name spelling in facts: ডা. মো. জাকির হোসাইন].
Concluding the administrative directive, the newly established three-member committee has been given a strict timeline to complete its inquiries. The panel has been formally instructed to submit its comprehensive investigation report to the relevant authorities within the next three working days.
