Clash at Habiganj Medical College Hostel Leaves 15 Injured
A violent clash between senior and junior students at the Habiganj Medical College hostel has left at least 15 people injured. Three of the wounded students were transferred to Sylhet for advanced medical treatment.

A violent confrontation erupted between senior and junior students at the Habiganj Medical College hostel, resulting in widespread injuries among the participants. The incident took place during the late hours of Wednesday at midnight, plunging the residential facility into a state of chaos and turmoil.
The clashes occurred specifically within the student hostel premises, which is situated inside the Anantapur residential area of Habiganj. According to the verified details of the incident, the hostilities involved distinct factions of students residing within the college accommodation facility.
As a direct consequence of the nocturnal violence, at least 15 individuals sustained various injuries during the altercation. The severity of the conflict required immediate medical intervention for all of the affected students involved in the college hostel clash.
Following the outbreak of violence, emergency measures were taken to transport the wounded individuals to medical facilities for urgent treatment. Out of the total casualties, three critically injured students were swiftly transferred to the Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital to receive advanced medical care.
Meanwhile, the remaining injured students received necessary medical attention at the Habiganj District Sadar Modern Hospital. Local authorities and medical staff managed the influx of the wounded as the institution dealt with the aftermath of the midnight confrontation.
