A comprehensive day-long medical initiative was conducted on Friday at the Bogra Municipal High School and College premises in Bogra to provide essential healthcare services to vulnerable populations. The special camp was organized to address eye health issues among marginalized communities who otherwise lack access to proper medical facilities. Through this large-scale humanitarian effort, approximately 5,000 underprivileged people received free eye treatment.

The humanitarian program was jointly organized through the initiative of Al-Basar International Foundation and with the active cooperation of the Ziaur Rahman Foundation. Representatives, medical professionals, and local leaders from various organizations were present at the venue to oversee the smooth execution of the day-long camp operations and assist the attending patients.

During the camp, physicians and medical staff conducted comprehensive eye examinations for the thousands of attendees who gathered at the Bogra Municipal High School and College grounds. In addition to clinical diagnoses, the medical teams provided essential medicines and distributed corrective spectacles directly to the patients requiring vision support.

A crucial component of the Friday healthcare camp involved identifying patients suffering from eye cataracts. Medical professionals carefully screened the attendees to locate cataract cases, subsequently arranging immediate, free-of-cost surgical procedures for those diagnosed to help restore their vision and improve their quality of life.

The successful execution of the day-long event highlights the collaborative efforts of Al-Basar International Foundation and the Ziaur Rahman Foundation in delivering vital healthcare services. By combining medical expertise with logistical support, the organizers successfully reached thousands of vulnerable residents in Bogra, ensuring they received necessary treatments, medications, and surgical interventions without any financial burden.
