St. Gregory's High School Hosts 4th Annual Innovative Carnival 2026
St. Gregory's High School and College in Dhaka has successfully hosted its fourth annual innovative carnival. The two-day main event followed a preliminary round and concluded with a musical concert.

St. Gregory's High School and College in Dhaka recently played host to a major educational and cultural gathering, successfully organizing the 4th Annual Innovative Carnival 2026. The prestigious institution welcomed students, faculty members, and esteemed guests to the campus for this highly anticipated multi-day celebration of innovation, creativity, and academic engagement.
The official schedule for the grand event spanned two main days, taking place on August 21 and August 22, 2026. However, the comprehensive festivities actually commenced a day prior on August 20, 2026, when organizers held a crucial preliminary round to evaluate and collect various early submissions from participating students.
During this preliminary phase on August 20, the institution gathered a wide array of creative student works. The collected items specifically included traditional drawing projects, informative wall magazines, meticulously crafted scrapbooks, and intricately designed handmade gift cards, setting a vibrant tone for the main carnival days that followed.
The formal inauguration and proceedings of the carnival were graced by several notable figures. Most prominently, Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Cabinet Division of the Government of Bangladesh, attended the multi-day academic celebration in the capacity of the chief guest, adding official significance to the institutional gathering.
The extensive fourth annual carnival concluded on a high and celebratory note. After days of competitive events, student presentations, and institutional showcases, the grand closing ceremony featured a live musical performance by the popular musical group Blue Jeans Band, providing a memorable finale for all attendees.
