BNP Marks 48th Anniversary with Cultural Event in Dhaka

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) officially marked its 48th founding anniversary with a high-profile commemorative event held at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium, located in the Farmgate area of Dhaka. The significant political gathering brought together prominent party leaders, government officials, and cultural performers to observe the historic milestone of the organization's founding.

As part of the day's proceedings, a formal discussion meeting was organized to reflect on the party's journey and political history. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman graced the occasion as the chief guest, delivering a comprehensive address to the assembled members, supporters, and dignitaries gathered inside the KIB auditorium.

The commemorative meeting was presided over by Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, who serves in the dual capacities of the party's acting secretary general and political adviser to the Prime Minister. His leadership during the session helped steer the official agenda of the anniversary observations.

The proceedings of the discussion meeting were efficiently conducted and directed by Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, who holds the positions of central publicity secretary for the BNP as well as state minister for fisheries and livestock. His administrative coordination ensured the smooth flow of the political program.

Following the formal political speeches and discussions, the National Swechchasebak and Cultural Organisation (JASAS) presented an extensive cultural program. A large roster of artists and performers contributed to the anniversary celebrations, including Ethun Babu, Sajjad Hossain Palash, Moushumi Chowdhury, Poran Ahsan, Aklima Mukta, Gamchha Palash, Shehman, Abdur Rauf, Rodoshi, Sunny, Sadman Pappu, Shahinur, and Rafiza Alam.
