Official statistics indicate that a total of 30,422 patients have successfully recovered from the illness and received clearance to leave hospitals after receiving necessary medical treatment. However, the sheer volume of ongoing cases means that hospitals continue to manage a considerable patient load. Currently, the total number of patients undergoing active treatment for dengue in healthcare facilities across Bangladesh stands at 2,080.
On a positive note, the Directorate General of Health Services confirmed that no new deaths were recorded due to dengue during the most recent 24-hour reporting window.
