Bangladesh distributes portfolios for four new ministers and two state ministers

Portfolios have been officially distributed among four newly sworn-in ministers and two state ministers, according to an announcement made by the Cabinet Division. The allocation of responsibilities follows the recent swearing-in ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of Bangabhaban in Dhaka on Friday.

Among the newly appointed cabinet members, Abdul Moyeen Khan has been assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Local Government. Additionally, Andaleeve Rahman Partho has been appointed to lead the Ministry of Information, taking charge of its administrative duties moving forward.

Further portfolio allocations include Rashiduzzaman Millat, who has been designated to head the Ministry of Aviation. Meanwhile, Saching Prue Jerry has been assigned to lead the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, overseeing regional governance and development matters.

In addition to the full ministers, two newly sworn-in state ministers have also been assigned their respective departments. Humayun Kabir has taken charge as the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, while Shamim Kaiser has been appointed as the State Minister for Religious Affairs.

The formal distribution of these portfolios finalizes the operational placement of the newly inducted members of the administration. Further details regarding their official duties and upcoming agendas are expected to be coordinated through the respective ministries.
