Bangladesh Army Provides Free Medical Care to Remote Hill Tracts Residents

The Bangladesh Army has organized a special medical camp to provide free healthcare services to residents living in remote hilly areas of the country. According to a confirmed report, the initiative was officially held yesterday, Saturday, at the Khagrachari Sadar District Hospital to assist local populations who often face challenges accessing proper medical facilities.

This humanitarian healthcare program was successfully executed through a joint initiative involving the Khagrachari Region and the Khagrachari Sadar District Hospital, under the overall supervision and organization of the Bangladesh Army. The collaborative effort aimed to bridge the healthcare gap for marginalized and hard-to-reach communities residing within the region.

During the day-long medical camp, a team of highly qualified specialist physicians provided comprehensive consultations and treatments. The medical experts specialized in various crucial fields of medicine, including surgery, general medicine, dermatology, gynecology, and ophthalmology, ensuring that patients with diverse health concerns received appropriate professional attention.

As a result of this concerted effort by the medical professionals and organizers, a total of 861 patients received specialized medical care completely free of charge. In addition to direct treatments, the attending physicians also provided essential medical advice and health guidance to the attendees to help them manage their long-term well-being.

Details regarding the successful execution of this medical outreach program were officially provided by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media and public relations wing of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. Such initiatives by the military continue to play a vital role in supporting underprivileged communities in remote regions across the country.
