Banana Trader Murdered in Kaliakair; Son-in-Law Surrenders

A brutal violent incident shook the Jamalpur Bazar area in Gazipur on Friday afternoon, resulting in the tragic death of a local banana trader. The victim, identified as Majid Mondol, was fatally attacked and hacked to death during the altercation in the bustling region.
According to the verified details of the incident, the fatal attack took place around 4:30 PM on Friday. The violence occurred specifically within the Bhangari Potti alley situated inside the Jamalpur Bazar area, creating immediate panic and concern among the local residents and business owners present at the scene.
Following the deadly assault on the banana trader, the suspect responsible for the crime took himself to the authorities. The victim's son-in-law, identified as Mozammel Haque alias Muja Sarkar, went directly to the police station on the morning after the incident to officially surrender.
In the wake of the killing, legal action was promptly initiated by the grieving family of the victim. The victim's son, Liton Mondol, formally stepped forward to serve as the plaintiff in the case regarding his father's tragic death.
Liton Mondol lodged a formal murder case at the Kaliganj police station holding his brother-in-law legally responsible for the crime. The sole named accused in the newly filed murder case at the police station is Mozammel Haque, marking the official escalation of the criminal investigation.
