Two killed as bus hits motorcycle in Faridpur's Bhanga
A tragic road accident on the Dhaka-Bhanga Highway left a motorcycle rider and another person dead after being run over by a passenger bus. Emergency responders and police rushed to the scene following the fatal collision.

Two people, including a motorcycle rider, were killed after being crushed by a speeding bus in Faridpur district. The fatal road accident took place on Thursday around 11:30 AM in the Bhanga interchange area situated along the major Dhaka-Bhanga Highway expressway.
According to the verified details of the incident, a passenger bus belonging to the Golden Line Paribahan transport company was traveling from Faridpur towards the capital city of Dhaka when the tragedy occurred. The heavy vehicle ran over the motorcycle, resulting in immediate and catastrophic consequences for the individuals riding the two-wheeler.
Local authorities and rescue services were swiftly mobilized to respond to the emergency at the Bhanga interchange area on the Dhaka-Bhanga Highway expressway. Personnel from the Fire Service arrived at the location to manage the aftermath of the collision alongside officers from the Bhanga Highway Police Station.
Following the crash, the victims were transported to local medical facilities for necessary procedures. The injured individuals were initially taken to the Bhanga Upazila Health Complex for urgent medical evaluation and treatment by attending healthcare professionals.
Due to the severity of their conditions following the bus collision, arrangements were subsequently made to transfer the victims to the Faridpur Medical College Hospital for advanced medical care. However, despite the efforts of medical staff across these healthcare institutions, two people ultimately succumbed to their injuries resulting from the Golden Line Paribahan bus crash.
