Special Bus Service Launched for Ansar Personnel at Dhaka Airport
A new transport service has been introduced to ease commutes for Ansar members on duty at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Two buses were officially inaugurated on September 3, 2026, under an initiative backed by aviation authorities and the force's welfare trust.
A special bus service has been officially launched to facilitate the daily commutes of auxiliary Ansar personnel stationed and working at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. The new transportation arrangement is designed specifically to address the logistical and travel challenges faced by these security and support personnel while reporting to and from their official duties at the busy aviation hub.
The operational rollout of this dedicated transport initiative was marked by the formal inauguration of two buses on September 3, 2026. These vehicles have been designated exclusively for the use of the Ansar members operating within the airport premises, ensuring more reliable and structured transit options for the personnel throughout their duty cycles.
The high-profile inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished officials, featuring Dhaka Metropolitan Ansar (North) Zone Zone Commander Md. Rabiul Islam as the chief guest. His presence underscored the institutional importance placed on improving the welfare, mobility, and working conditions of frontline personnel deployed at vital national infrastructure sites.
Financial provisions for the newly introduced transport fleet have been formally established through an inter-agency agreement. The total annual rental cost for the two deployed buses stands at 4,245,680 Bangladeshi Taka, a substantial financial commitment that will be fully covered and paid for by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh.
Highlighting the significance of the rollout during the launch event, Zone Commander Md. Rabiul Islam stated that the initiative taken jointly by the Director General of the force and the Civil Aviation Authority to ease the commuting difficulties of Ansar members marks a truly groundbreaking step for the organization.
