Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, also known as SAU, is preparing to host its highly anticipated second convocation. The official announcement regarding the schedule of this major academic milestone has been confirmed for the upcoming year. According to the university administration, the grand event will bring together students, faculty, and academic leaders on the main campus located in Dhaka.

The announcement of the event date was officially confirmed by the university's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Latif. Providing definitive details about the scheduling of the ceremony, Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Latif stated that the second convocation of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University will officially take place on the sixth day of February next year. His confirmation ends speculation and sets the official timeline for the university community.

In addition to announcing the date, the Vice-Chancellor shared important details regarding the approval of the event at the highest level. Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Latif confirmed that the Chancellor of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, has formally consented to the holding of the second convocation. With this crucial presidential or gubernatorial approval in place, preparations for the large-scale university gathering can now proceed without delay.

This upcoming gathering marks only the second time in the institution's history that a full convocation ceremony has been organized. Historical records for the university show that the very first convocation of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University was previously held on November 16, 2015. Since that initial landmark event, students and alumni have eagerly awaited the announcement of a second convocation to celebrate subsequent graduating classes.

As the preparations move forward following the official confirmation by Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Latif and the consent of Chancellor Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the university community in Dhaka is gearing up for the festivities. With the date locked in for February 6 next year, organizers at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University and affiliated bodies like Jago News are expected to release further logistical details as the momentous day approaches.
