Rangpur Hosts Seventh Regional Debate Festival with 600 Students
The seventh regional debate festival recently took place in Rangpur, drawing participants from fifty different educational institutions. A total of six hundred secondary and higher secondary students gathered to take part in the notable event.
The city of Rangpur recently served as the venue for the seventh regional debate festival, an academic gathering that brought together numerous young minds from across the region. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their oratorical skills and engage in intellectual discourse on various contemporary issues.
A total of fifty educational institutions from throughout the division were represented at the festival. These participating schools and colleges sent their finest secondary and higher secondary level debaters to compete and collaborate in the diverse range of scheduled events and debates.
Altogether, six hundred students participated in the comprehensive programme. This large turnout highlights the vibrant debating culture and the enthusiastic engagement of youth in the region's academic and co-curricular activities.
The festival saw the involvement of numerous notable individuals, including Colonel Mohammad Ahsanul Kabir, A K M Shoeb, Shaiyan Sadik Ishti, Ashikur Rahman Akash, Farsima Riasat, Kajol Roy, Joy Lala, Yasha Ayman, Othoi, Naziba, Tasnim, Sandip, Nusrat, Raj Baidda, Mishkat Zaman, Firoz Kabir, Umar Faruk, Niaz, Manik, and Shah Alam.
Additionally, a wide array of organizations lent their support and participation to the grand regional event, featuring institutions such as Cantonment Public School and College, the National Debate Federation (NDF), North South University, the Daily Ittefaq, Channel i, Banglanews24, Jay Jay Din, Sabhyota TV, Syedpur Cantonment Public School, Blue Star, Motukpur School and College, Akef Residential, and Lalmonirhat Public.
