Rangpur Distributes Job Certificates and Work Equipment to Trained Youth
Trained young men and women received employment certificates and work equipment at a special event in Rangpur. Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu attended as the chief guest.
On August 30, 2026, a significant event was held at the Shilpakala Academy auditorium in Rangpur to distribute work-related equipment and job certificates among trained young men and women. The comprehensive programme was organized by the Institute of Engineers Technology (IET) to support the local youth who had undergone specialized training.
Asadul Habib Dulu, the Minister for Disaster Management and Relief, graced the ceremony as the chief guest. His presence highlighted the government's ongoing commitment to fostering youth employment and skill development across the region, bringing together various stakeholders and dignitaries at the Rangpur Shilpakala Academy auditorium.
During the official proceedings of the August 30 event, a total of twenty-five individuals were formally awarded job placements. This direct employment initiative aims to integrate the trained workforce into active professional sectors, providing them with stable livelihoods and recognizing their successful completion of technical training programmes.
In addition to the job placements, fifty trainees received essential work-related equipment. This distribution of practical tools is designed to empower the young men and women to immediately start their own enterprises or enhance their productivity in their respective trades, fostering self-reliance within the community.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants, marking a milestone in their professional journeys. The initiative by the Institute of Engineers Technology (IET) underscores the critical role of targeted skills training in addressing youth unemployment in the Rangpur region.
