Malekul Salehin Pratyay, a tenth-grade student studying at Rajshahi Cadet College in Bangladesh, has successfully completed an extraordinary journey to the geographic North Pole. His remarkable expedition was made possible through the 'Icebreaker of Knowledge' program, an international educational initiative organized by the Russian state atomic energy corporation, Rosatom.

The voyage took place during the month of August, specifically spanning from August 1 to August 13. To embark on this unique Arctic adventure, Pratyay departed from Dhaka on the first day of August and traveled to Russia. His sea voyage to the top of the world officially commenced from the northern Russian port city of Murmansk.

During the high-latitude expedition, the young Bangladeshi student was joined by 21 other students hailing from various countries around the globe. Together, this diverse group of international youths experienced the extreme polar environment, where temperatures plummeted to a chilling minus 10 degrees Celsius.

The nuclear-powered icebreaker vessel navigated the treacherous, frozen waters of the Arctic Ocean, allowing the students to witness firsthand the unique geography and harsh climate of the northernmost point of the Earth. The expedition combined education and exploration in one of the most remote regions on the planet.

After completing the historic voyage across the icy expanse, the Russian vessel returned to its starting point. Pratyay successfully concluded his North Pole expedition when he arrived back at the port of Murmansk on August 13, marking the end of the unforgettable international journey.
