MIST Announces 2026-27 Undergraduate Admission Test Dates

The Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in Bangladesh has officially announced the undergraduate admission test dates for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. According to the newly released schedule, prospective students seeking to secure admission to the prestigious institution will begin sitting for their examinations in the middle of December.

Testing for the academic session will commence on December 18, specifically with the C Unit (Science) examination. Candidates applying under this scientific discipline will be the first batch to take their tests as part of the rigorous evaluation process established by the institution for the 2026-27 intake.

Following the opening day of examinations, the assessment schedule will continue into the next day. The A and B Unit (Engineering and Architecture) admission tests have been officially scheduled to take place on December 19, accommodating candidates pursuing these specialized technical faculties at the institute.

This announcement regarding the MIST admission cycle arrives alongside broader academic scheduling updates within the higher education sector in Bangladesh. Notably, Dhaka University admission tests are also scheduled to start in December, placing several major university entrance examinations within the same winter timeframe.

Additionally, other prominent institutions in the country have mapped out their respective timelines for prospective applicants. Both Jagannath University and Rajshahi University have confirmed that their respective undergraduate admission tests will officially start in January 2027, rounding out the regional higher education entrance calendar.
