The designated deadline for Monthly Pay Order (MPO)-listed teachers working in private madrassas across Bangladesh to submit their official transfer applications officially ended on September 6 at 4:00 PM. The process, overseen by the Madrassa Education Department, marks a significant moment for educators seeking relocation within the country's religious educational institution network.

According to the official figures released following the closure of the application window, approximately 7,500 applications were successfully submitted by interested teachers before the strict cutoff time. This response comes in the context of approximately 42,000 vacant positions that have been published by the authorities for the education sector.

In the wake of the deadline passing, representatives from the Madrassa Department and the Madrassa Education Department have clarified the future roadmap regarding the submission process. Authorities have formally announced that no new applications for transfers will be accepted moving forward, and there are no plans whatsoever to extend the final time limit that was established for the teachers.

Addressing the administrative framework of the relocations, officials detailed how the transitions will be handled operationally in the near term. Until a fully automated, software-based transfer system is officially launched and implemented, all current transfer activities will continue to be conducted entirely through a manual procedure.

This interim manual approach ensures that the processing of the approximately 7,500 received applications can proceed without waiting for the digital platform to be finalized. The Madrassa Education Department remains responsible for overseeing these administrative steps as the educational sector navigates the current transitional phase for teacher postings.
