Jagannath University Issues Recruitment Notice for 14 Faculty Members

Jagannath University has officially announced a new recruitment drive to fill a total of 14 teaching positions across various academic departments within the institution. The official recruitment notice, which was published on August 27 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, outlines opportunities for qualified professionals aspiring to join the university's academic staff. The available positions are distributed across specific tiers of faculty membership, aiming to strengthen the teaching capacity of the university.

According to the published notification, the recruitment process includes openings for two positions at the assistant professor rank and twelve positions at the lecturer rank. The openings span across a diverse range of academic disciplines and departments within the university. These specified departments include the Social Work Department, the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Department, the Music Department, the Film and Television Department, the Drama Department, and the Mass Communication and Journalism Department.

The comprehensive list of departments seeking new academic personnel further extends to the fine arts and design disciplines at Jagannath University. Additional departments mentioned in the recruitment scope are the Drawing and Painting Department, the Printmaking Department, and the Three-Dimensional Art and Design Department. Candidates applying for these positions will be compensated according to distinct national pay scales designated for each specific academic rank.

The financial remuneration for the positions is structured according to government pay scales, where the assistant professor post carries a salary scale ranging from 35,500 to 67,010 Taka. Meanwhile, candidates appointed to the lecturer positions will receive a salary scale ranging from 22,000 to 53,060 Taka. Applicants are required to pay a designated application fee amounting to 600 Taka to successfully process their employment submissions.

To complete the financial transaction for the application, candidates must utilize specific mobile financial services as outlined by the university administration. The application fee of 600 Taka can be conveniently paid through either the Nagad or Rocket mobile banking platforms. Prospective applicants must ensure all requirements are met before the final submission window closes.
