Islamic University Science Club launches official website and online payment system

The Islamic University Science Club has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first organization at Islamic University to launch its own official website and a registered online payment system. This modern digital initiative is designed to enhance the operational capabilities of the student organization and provide seamless access to its various academic and scientific activities.

The formal inauguration of the newly developed website and payment gateway took place on September 9. The launching ceremony was held at the official office of the university's Vice-Chancellor, marking a notable step forward in the digital transformation of student-led organizations on the campus.

Professor A. K. M. Matinur Rahman, the Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University, officially inaugurated the website and online payment system as the chief guest of the event. Several other distinguished academics and university officials were also present at the inaugural ceremony in the Vice-Chancellor's office, including Professor Dr. Md. Shahjahan Ali, Professor Dr. Md. Minhaj Ul Haque, Junaidul Mostafa, and Sarwar Hossain Sakib.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Professor A. K. M. Matinur Rahman emphasized the importance of such technological advancements for the student body. He stated that initiatives of this nature play a crucial role in connecting students with modern technology while simultaneously making the organizational activities more dynamic, transparent, and easily accessible.

Highlighting broader institutional developments, the Vice-Chancellor also noted that the university has undertaken several strategic international and domestic collaborations. These include the implementation of a '2+2' educational program with Japan, ongoing academic cooperation with China, and the establishment of a 'Career Hub' in partnership with BRAC, all of which are aimed at supporting students in higher education and overall skill development.
