Information and Broadcasting Minister Barrister Andalib Rahman Partho travelled to Savar in Dhaka on Saturday, August 22, 2026, to pay his solemn respects to the nation's fallen heroes. During his visit to the Savar National Martyrs' Memorial, the newly appointed minister offered his official tributes to the national martyrs in a formal and respectful ceremony.
Following his memorial visit, Barrister Andalib Rahman Partho addressed members of the press corps who were gathered at the location. While speaking to the journalists, he outlined his immediate schedule regarding his new governmental portfolio within the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, confirming when he would formally step into his workspace.
The minister stated during his interaction with the media that he will officially begin his administrative office work starting from the very next day. He noted that upon his arrival at the ministry, he will be able to fully comprehend the vast scope of work handled by the department and identify any practical problems that currently exist within its operations.
Reflecting on the heavy responsibilities entrusted to him, Barrister Andalib Rahman Partho sought the prayers and blessings of the citizens of the country.
