Housewife Allegedly Gang-Raped in Satkhira After Being Lured From Koyra
A housewife from Koyra has allegedly been gang-raped in Satkhira's Tala upazila. Police have sent the victim to Sadar Hospital for a medical examination following a formal complaint.

A housewife hailing from Koyra upazila of Khulna has reportedly fallen victim to a harrowing incident of gang rape after being lured to Tala upazila in Satkhira district. The disturbing allegations have prompted immediate legal and administrative action within the region, drawing attention to the safety and security of women traveling across district boundaries.
According to the verified sequence of events, the criminal offense took place on Thursday night within the jurisdiction of Tala upazila in Satkhira district. The victim, whose identity has been withheld for privacy, was reportedly brought to the location from her residence in Koyra before the alleged assault occurred.
Seeking justice for the crime, the affected woman subsequently lodged an official case at the Tala police station. Based on her complaint, the legal proceedings target three specific individuals, which notably includes at least one woman among the accused perpetrators named in the police records.
In response to the filing of the case, local law enforcement authorities at the Tala police station initiated necessary investigative protocols. Officers immediately took steps to secure evidence and support the complainant through the initial stages of the judicial and medical process.
As part of the ongoing investigation and standard procedure for such allegations, the police arranged for the victim to undergo a comprehensive medical examination. Consequently, the authorities transferred the woman to the Satkhira Sadar Hospital to complete the required medical tests.
