A tragic road accident on the Satkhira-Shyamnagar road in Satkhira has claimed the life of a young private company deliveryman named Abu Raihan. The incident took place on August 15 in the area adjacent to the Kaliganj Filling Station located within the Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira district.

According to the verified details of the incident, Abu Raihan was crushed beneath the wheels of a moving truck at the specified location along the regional highway. The sheer impact and severity of the collision resulted in his immediate and fatal injuries at the scene of the accident.

Before the tragic event, the victim resided in Katkhali village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Shyamnagar upazila in Satkhira. Professionally, he was employed as a deliveryman for a private company, carrying out his daily duties prior to the untimely collision.

In the immediate aftermath of the tragedy, local people gathered at the location along the Satkhira-Shyamnagar road. Demonstrating prompt action, the gathered local residents successfully intercepted and detained the killer truck involved in the fatal incident.

Despite the successful detention of the heavy vehicle by the local populace, the driver managed to evade capture and fled the scene before authorities could apprehend him. Police and local administration are expected to handle the aftermath of the incident through the Kaliganj police station.
