DU IBA Launches New Six-Week Marketing Competence Course for Managers
The Institute of Business Administration at Dhaka University has announced a new professional certificate course. Applications are currently open for the six-week program starting in October 2026.

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) at Dhaka University has officially announced the launch of a new professional training program titled 'Marketing Competence for Managers (MCFM)'. This specialized initiative is structured as a comprehensive six-week certificate course designed to enhance the strategic marketing capabilities of working professionals and modern business managers in the region.
Prospective candidates interested in enrolling in the newly established program must take note of the upcoming application deadline, which has been formally set for September 16, 2026. Organizers at the Dhaka University institution have outlined specific eligibility criteria to ensure that participants possess the necessary academic foundation and professional background to fully benefit from the curriculum.
To qualify for consideration, applicants are required to hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution. In addition to educational qualifications, candidates must demonstrate a background in the corporate sector by possessing at least two years of relevant working experience prior to submitting their applications to the institute.
The financial investment required for the six-week certificate program is set at a course fee of 32,000 taka. Following the conclusion of the application process in September, successful candidates will begin their academic journey when classes officially commence on October 2, 2026, at the university premises.
Throughout the duration of the six-week program, enrolled students will be expected to maintain a high level of academic engagement. To successfully complete the certification and graduate from the course, participants must fulfill a mandatory attendance requirement of attending at least seventy percent of all scheduled classes.
