Dhaka University Chhatra Dal Expels Two Leaders Over Inactivity
Two leaders of the Dhaka University branch of Chhatra Dal have been expelled from the organization. The disciplinary actions were taken due to activities contrary to organizational discipline and long-term inactivity.
The Dhaka University branch of the nationalist student organization Chhatra Dal has officially expelled two of its leaders following allegations of maintaining activities that run contrary to the organizational discipline of the student body. According to the verified details released regarding the disciplinary measures, the individuals in question were also found to have remained inactive in the ongoing activities of the organization for a long duration of time, prompting the leadership to take strict administrative action against them.
The first disciplinary action involving the expulsion of a key hall-level leader took place earlier in the month of August. Specifically, Al Amin Faraji, who was serving as the Joint Convener of the Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall unit of the Dhaka University Chhatra Dal, was formally expelled from the organization on the eleventh day of August.
Following this initial measure, a similar disciplinary decision was executed regarding another hall-level leader of the same student organization. Faiyaz Md. Sharaf Fahim, who held the position of Joint Convener of the Sir A. F. Rahman Hall unit under the Dhaka University branch, faced the exact same fate when he was officially expelled from the organization on the fourteenth day of August.
The formal decisions to expel both Al Amin Faraji and Faiyaz Md. Sharaf Fahim were thoroughly reviewed and officially approved by the top leadership of the Dhaka University branch of Chhatra Dal. The expulsion orders received the direct endorsement and authorization of Ganesh Chandra Roy Sahas, who serves as the President of the Dhaka University Chhatra Dal, alongside Nahiduzzaman Shipon, who holds the position of General Secretary of the organization.
These consecutive expulsions highlight the ongoing administrative measures being implemented by the current executive committee of the Dhaka University Chhatra Dal to enforce strict internal discipline among its members. By taking action against leaders identified as being inactive and working against organizational rules, the leadership aims to maintain structural integrity within the various residential hall units across the campus.
