Dhaka Holds Jashne Julus Marking Eid-e-Miladunnabi
Dhaka witnessed a Jashne Julus procession and discussion meeting on Sunday morning to mark Eid-e-Miladunnabi. The event, organized by Anjuman-e Rahmania Ahmadiya Sunnia Trust, drew numerous prominent figures and scholars.

On Sunday, August 23, a significant Jashne Julus procession and discussion meeting took place in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, to observe the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi. The religious event was successfully organized under the management of the Anjuman-e Rahmania Ahmadiya Sunnia Trust, with active cooperation and support from Gausia Committee Bangladesh, Dhaka.
The grand procession commenced in the morning from the Mohammadpur Qaderia Tayyebia Alia Kamil Madrasa. Participants walked a designated route through the area before concluding the procession peacefully at the Shyamali Club Field, where subsequent commemorative activities were scheduled to take place.
Following the conclusion of the procession, a large-scale discussion meeting and mahfil were held at the Shyamali Club Field. The gathering brought together numerous distinguished religious leaders, scholars, and organizers, including Pir Sabir Shah, Shahzada Syed Muhammad Kasim Shah, Syed Akib Ahmad Shah, Mufti Muhammad Jasim Uddin Al-Azhari, and Mufti Abul Kasem Mohammad Fazlul Haque.
Other prominent figures in attendance at the gathering included Mohammad Monzur Alam, Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Mohammad Kamor Uddin (Sabur), Mohammad Golam Mohiuddin, Peyar Mohammad, and Mohiuddin Khokon. Representatives from the organizing bodies, including members affiliated with the Anjuman-e Rahmania Ahmadiya Sunnia Trust Dhaka branch and Gausia Committee Bangladesh, helped coordinate the proceedings.
Addressing the gathering during the event, Pir Sabir Shah delivered a keynote speech highlighting the core message of the occasion. He stated that the true ideal of the Prophet, peace be upon him, is to eradicate militancy and terrorism carried out globally in the name of Islam in order to establish lasting peace.
Elaborating further on the significance of the Prophet's arrival, Pir Sabir Shah added that he emerged as the greatest blessing and mercy from Allah for the entire creation, transforming an era of ignorance and darkness into an enlightened age. He emphasized that expressing joy over receiving this magnificent blessing from Allah is in itself a divine directive.
