An official exchange meeting recently took place between the Center for Zakat Management (CZM) and the Chattogram Tamakumundi Lane Merchants Association. The gathering was hosted at the official office of the Chattogram Tamakumundi Lane Merchants Association located in Chattogram, bringing together key representatives from both organizations to discuss cooperative initiatives.
The primary focus of the discussion centered on institutional zakat management, poverty alleviation, and sustainable social development. Participants explored structured approaches to utilizing zakat funds effectively to drive meaningful societal change and support economic upliftment within the community through organized institutional frameworks.
The meeting proceedings were formally chaired by Mohammad Abu Taleb on Wednesday evening. Alongside his role as chair, the session was systematically moderated by Faruk Azam to facilitate focused dialogue on the core agenda topics concerning zakat implementation and sustainable development.
