Dhaka Board Announces Class 11 Admission and Re-scrutiny Results

The Dhaka Education Board in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has officially announced the procedures for Class 11 admissions and re-scrutiny results for the current 2026-27 academic year. The comprehensive announcement outlines a strict timeline for prospective students seeking enrollment in higher secondary education, detailing application windows, re-scrutiny provisions, and final admission dates.

According to the announced schedule, the formal application process for Class 11 admission for the 2026-27 academic year will officially commence on September 2, 2026, and will remain open until September 10, 2026. This period allows eligible students to submit their applications through the designated online system established by the educational authorities.

To ensure fairness for students awaiting administrative reviews, specific provisions have been made regarding re-scrutiny outcomes. Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, addressed these candidates by stating, "If anyone passes through re-scrutiny from a failing status, we have kept an opportunity to apply considering that aspect. They can apply under the same rules online. After taking their applications, the list of who has been selected for admission to which institution in Class 11 will be published. There is no reason to fear or worry. Everyone interested will get the opportunity to get admitted." Consequently, students whose results change due to re-scrutiny will be granted an additional opportunity to apply and modify their college choices on September 12 and 13 until 8:00 PM.

Following the conclusion of the application phases, the official list of selected students will be published on September 17, 2026, at 8:00 PM. Students who secure a placement must complete their admission confirmation by September 19, 2026, at 8:00 PM to secure their respective academic slots.

The final phase of the admission process will take place from September 20 to September 22, 2026, during which official institutional enrollment activities will be conducted. Following the completion of all admission procedures, formal classes for the newly enrolled Class 11 students for the 2026-27 academic year will officially commence on September 23, 2026.
