Chinese National's Body Recovered from Uttara Hotel Room in Dhaka

In an incident reported on the morning of September 5, the body of a Chinese national was recovered from a hotel room located in the Uttara area of Dhaka. According to the available verified information, the deceased individual has been identified as Li Xingqiang, a foreign national estimated to be approximately 40 years of age. The venue of the incident was specified as a room within the premises of Bengal Hotel and Hospitality Limited, situated in the capital city.

Mohammad Khaled Mansur provided detailed information regarding the discovery of the foreign national. In the morning, the Chinese citizen was reportedly found lying on the floor inside room number 905 of the hotel. Three other Chinese nationals, who were staying in rooms 404 and 406 of the same establishment, noticed him lying on the ground and promptly informed the hotel management about the situation.

Following the notification from the hotel management, local law enforcement authorities responded to the scene. Personnel from the Uttara West Police Station arrived at the location to handle the situation, successfully recovered the body, and initiated the necessary legal and investigative procedures regarding the sudden death.

According to the statements provided by Mohammad Khaled Mansur, the deceased Chinese national had arrived in the country just the night before and checked into the hotel. Following the completion of the initial inquest report, commonly known as a suratthal report, the body was transferred to the morgue of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for a comprehensive post-mortem examination.

In connection with the sudden and unexpected passing of the foreign national, formal legal steps have been taken by the authorities. A case regarding an unnatural death has been filed at the police station as investigations and medical evaluations continue to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
