On Wednesday afternoon, an orientation and exchange meeting regarding the 'Feeding Programme' project for government primary schools was held in Chapai Nababganj. The event focused on the implementation of feeding initiatives and the overall enhancement of educational standards within the region's primary institutions.
During the proceedings, State Minister for the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj addressed attendees and announced that an experimental activity to provide cooked meals for primary school students will soon be initiated. He emphasized that the primary objective of the scheme is to ensure that nutritious food is delivered to students at the appropriate time.
The discussion in Chapai Nababganj was attended by several notable figures, including Abu Saleh Md. Musa Jangi, Nurul Islam Bulbul, Harunur Rashid, Md. Abul Amin, and Mohammad Shahidul Islam. Their presence underscored the collaborative approach being taken by local stakeholders and educational administrators in evaluating the proposed school feeding framework.
Furthermore, officials at the meeting noted that ongoing efforts are underway to implement a new curriculum starting from the year 2028. This broader educational strategy runs parallel to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and the Directorate of Primary Education's current focus on student health and nutrition.
As the pilot project moves forward, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and the Directorate of Primary Education will continue to oversee the integration of the feeding programme across participating institutions. The initiative remains a central component of the government's current efforts to improve both learning environments and child nutrition in primary schools.
