Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology has concluded a two-month-long orientation festival for the 25th batch of its Electrical and Electronic Engineering department. The event featured video messages from distinguished alumni and a nearly 12-hour treasure hunt.

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has officially concluded the two-month-long orientation festival organized to welcome the newly enrolled students of the 25th batch of its Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) department. The grand conclusion of the comprehensive welcoming program took place on August 27, marking the successful end of weeks of engagement and celebratory activities designed to integrate the incoming students into the academic community.
The extensive orientation program, widely celebrated across the campus, was held under the guiding theme of “With Great Merit, Comes Great Responsibility.” This carefully chosen motto set the tone for the academic and personal ethos expected of the university's newest engineering scholars as they embark on their rigorous educational journeys within the prestigious institution.
Throughout the duration of the nearly two-month-long festival, organizers arranged a variety of engaging events to foster camaraderie among the freshers. A notable highlight of the festivities was a treasure hunt that lasted for approximately twelve hours, challenging the participants' problem-solving skills, teamwork, and endurance while exploring the university environment.
Adding to the inspiration of the welcoming ceremonies, the incoming students received special recognition through video messages. Alumni Maksudul Hossain Jewel and Ashikuzzaman Russell, both former students of the BUET EEE department, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the freshers from afar, sharing words of encouragement as the new academic cohort begins their journey.
