Bangladeshi Team Attends APSCO CubeSat Camp in China Under Shahnawaz Siddique
A Bangladeshi researcher led a delegation to the APSCO CubeSat summer camp in Xi'an, China. Meanwhile, Professor Imran Rahman joined Independent University, Bangladesh in dual roles.

A Bangladeshi research team participated in the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) CubeSat Competition Summer Camp held in Xi'an, China. The delegation was led by Bangladeshi researcher Dr. Shahnawaz Siddique during the international academic and technical engagement.
The scheduled training program and camp activities took place from August 12 to August 25. The venue for this specialized training session was Northwestern Polytechnical University located in Xi'an, China.
In a separate development within the country's higher education sector, Professor Imran Rahman has taken on new academic and administrative responsibilities. He has officially joined the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) as the Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
Alongside his primary faculty leadership position as business school dean, Professor Imran Rahman has also assumed the crucial role of Administrative Policy Advisor at the same institution. His appointment marks a significant administrative transition within Independent University, Bangladesh.
These developments highlight ongoing international collaborations in space research involving institutions like APSCO, Sparso, and various universities, alongside key academic leadership changes within Bangladesh's private university sector involving figures previously linked to ULAB, NSU, and Dhaka University.
