Private school and college teachers under the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) system in Bangladesh will have the opportunity to apply for transfers through a newly introduced online system for the very first time. This significant administrative shift aims to streamline the mobility of educators across various educational institutions within the country, marking a notable departure from traditional manual processes.

According to the official schedule released by the authorities, the online application window for these institutional transfers is scheduled to remain open for a brief period starting from August 21 and concluding on 27 August. During this specified timeframe, interested and eligible MPO-listed teachers must complete their digital submissions through the designated channels established by the government and its technical partners.

As part of the application guidelines established for this inaugural online process, strict limitations have been placed on the number of choices a candidate can submit. Specifically, an individual teacher is allowed to apply for a transfer to a maximum of three distinct educational institutions during this application cycle, requiring candidates to carefully consider their preferred placement options.

The official announcement detailing these procedural steps, dates, and limitations was formally issued through a notification bearing the signature of Professor Md. Sakhawat Hossain Khan, who serves as the Director of the Secondary Branch at the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.

This systemic transition involves critical coordination among several key government bodies and agencies. The initiative is being implemented under the overarching jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, specifically involving the Secondary and Higher Education Division and the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, alongside telecommunications support provided by Teletalk Bangladesh Limited to facilitate the digital application process.
