The Ministry of Land has issued a formal and comprehensive directive instructing all upazila and union land offices located throughout Bangladesh to immediately install biometric digital attendance devices. According to the official documentation regarding this new mandate, the implementation instructions were formally communicated through an official letter issued by the Field Administration-2 branch of the Land Ministry. The administrative correspondence sets out the strict requirements for modernising attendance tracking across the decentralized network of land management offices.

As part of the operational rollout, the directive places direct responsibility on all Deputy Commissioners operating across the country. These regional administrative heads have been specifically instructed by the ministry to oversee and ensure the immediate physical installation of the biometric hardware in every designated local office under their jurisdiction.
