The government of Bangladesh has officially extended financial assistance amounting to 1 million US dollars, equivalent to 123 million Bangladeshi taka, to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund of Nepal. This substantial international aid package was designated specifically to support the victims of recent devastating flash floods and catastrophic landslides that struck northern Nepal, causing widespread destruction and loss of life in the region.

During a formal diplomatic engagement held on September 3, 2026, at the State Guest House Padma in Dhaka, Bangladesh, the ongoing bilateral solidarity between the two nations was strongly emphasized. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir met with the Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, Ghanshyam Bhandari, to facilitate the official transfer of critical support and official correspondence regarding the disaster relief efforts.
