A monsoon depression currently positioned over the Bay of Bengal is actively driving widespread rainfall and severe weather conditions across Bangladesh, according to reports. In the most recent twenty-four-hour reporting period, the nation recorded torrential rainfall. Meteorological data indicates that the highest single measurement reached a significant 190 millimeters of rain in parts of the country, underscoring the severity of the ongoing monsoon system.

Looking ahead at immediate threats, weather authorities have issued a specific warning for fourteen districts across Bangladesh.
