Adamjee Cantonment College Student Showcaused Over Facebook Posts
A fourth-year BBA honors student at Adamjee Cantonment College has been issued a show-cause notice. The notice follows allegations of making indecent remarks on Facebook.

Authorities at Adamjee Cantonment College in Dhaka have officially issued a formal cause-notice to a student enrolled in their academic institution. The subject of this disciplinary action is Md. Abdullah Sifat, who is currently studying as a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) honors program at the college.
The administrative action stems from a specific incident that reportedly occurred earlier this month on the social media platform Facebook. According to the allegations recorded by the educational institution, the student is accused of posting indecent remarks on his Facebook profile on September 3, 2026, which drew official scrutiny from the college administration.
In response to the alleged online conduct, the college administration moved forward with formal disciplinary procedures later that same week. On September 6, 2026, an official notice was issued under the authority of the college principal, bearing the signature of Professor Dr. Nilufa Ahsan.
The administrative document formally directed Md. Abdullah Sifat to provide a written explanation regarding the allegations. Specifically, the student has been instructed by the college authorities to submit his formal reply within three working days from the issuance of the notice.
This disciplinary measure highlights the ongoing monitoring of student online conduct by educational authorities in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The case remains under administrative review as the college awaits the student's formal response within the designated three-working-day timeframe specified in the notice.
