World Muslim Cultural Society forms new committee for 2026-29 term

The World Muslim Cultural Society has officially formed its new committee for the 2026-29 term, following a general meeting held on Saturday. The announcement marks a significant leadership update for the organization as it prepares for its upcoming operational period spanning the next three years.

During the gathering held at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in Dhaka, the members finalized the structure of the organization's leadership. The newly formed committee consists of 11 members who will steer the organization's activities and initiatives throughout the designated three-year tenure.

In the leadership elections conducted during the Saturday session, Ahmad Selim Reza was re-elected to serve as the president of the World Muslim Cultural Society. His return to the presidency ensures continuity for the organization as it enters the 2026-29 administrative term.

Alongside the re-election of the president, the general meeting also determined the other key office-bearer position for the executive body. Mosafijur Rahman Naim was newly elected to take on the responsibilities of the general secretary for the upcoming term.

The newly established 11-member committee, led by President Ahmad Selim Reza and General Secretary Mosafijur Rahman Naim, will immediately assume their organizational duties. The team is set to oversee the society's cultural and community objectives throughout their confirmed three-year tenure.
