Md Anisul Haque's ceramic solo exhibition concludes at Dhaka University

The third solo exhibition by ceramic artist Md Anisul Haque, titled 'The Journey of Material, Form and Fire: From Clay to Ceramic', is currently drawing to a close at the Zainul Gallery of the Faculty of Fine Art at the University of Dhaka. The cultural event marks a significant showcase of contemporary ceramic artistry, offering art enthusiasts a deep dive into the meticulous processes of shaping and firing clay into expressive artistic forms.

Opening on Thursday, the multi-day exhibition is scheduled to wrap up its final day on September 22. Throughout the duration of the showcase, the gallery doors have welcomed visitors daily starting from 11 in the morning and remaining open until 7 in the evening, providing ample opportunity for the public to experience the comprehensive body of work on display at the university campus.

Reflecting on the philosophy behind his creative output, artist Md Anisul Haque shared his perspective on the profound role of art in contemporary society. He stated that creating art is a meaningful endeavor for him, one that carries a strong message and holds the distinct capability to exert a deep and lasting impact on society as a whole.

Expanding further on the thematic inspirations that drive his artistic explorations, Haque emphasized a universal perspective regarding humanity and existence. He remarked that it does not matter which religion individuals believe in or which country they originate from, noting that humanity shares a single overarching identity as human beings. Furthermore, the artist expressed that the internal conflicts and endless possibilities of diversity within the human race continually fascinate and captivate his imagination.
