Editorial Standards
These standards govern all reporting published by BDRevise24 in both its Bengali and English editions.
1. Sourcing
Reports identify their sources wherever possible. Where a source cannot be named, the reason is weighed editorially and the information is corroborated before publication. Material drawn from other media is attributed to the originating outlet within the report.
2. Verification
Every report passes editorial review prior to publication. Photographs and video are checked for provenance, including metadata examination and reverse-image search where warranted. Statements that cannot be independently verified are published as claims and identified as such.
3. Impartiality
News reporting is kept distinct from opinion, which is published under the Opinion section and identified as such. Commercial content is governed by the Advertising Terms and is always labelled.
4. Corrections
Errors are corrected upon verification and recorded in the corrections register together with a note in the affected report. Published content is not altered silently.
5. Complaints
Complaints regarding accuracy, fairness or conduct may be addressed to the editorial desk through the Contact page. Each complaint is reviewed and answered; where a complaint is upheld, the corrections process above applies.
