Thakurgaon Prothom Alo Bondhushabha Distributes 235 Saplings to Protect Environment

On August 20, Thakurgaon Prothom Alo Bondhushabha organized a significant tree plantation program and sapling distribution event aimed at promoting environmental awareness. The initiative took place on the premises of Lakshmipur Hazirhat Government Primary School, located in the Sadar Upazila of Thakurgaon.
During the event, a total of 235 tree saplings were distributed among the students of the institution. Organizers and community members gathered at the school to facilitate the distribution and actively participate in planting trees across the school grounds.
Highlighting the critical importance of nature conservation during the program, Mo. Aiub Dulal stated that there is no alternative to trees for protecting the environment. He further stressed that simply planting trees is not enough, and ensuring the regular care and maintenance of every single plant is essential. He urged everyone to be responsible toward the environment and come forward to plant more trees extensively.
Echoing similar sentiments about ecological preservation, Syed Shihab remarked that a single tree planted today serves as the foundation for a clean and fresh environment in the days to come. He encouraged every individual to take the responsibility of planting at least one tree and looking after it regularly, urging everyone to remain aware and sincere in protecting the environment.
The event saw active participation from notable individuals representing the organizers and the local community, including Shahinur Islam and Rakib Shahriyar. Their presence underscored the collaborative effort behind the successful execution of the tree plantation program at Lakshmipur Hazirhat Government Primary School.
