Syed Jahangir Fazal Appointed Acting Chief Engineer of Chittagong University

Syed Jahangir Fazal has been officially appointed as the new acting Chief Engineer of Chittagong University. His appointment to the vital engineering leadership role at the institution marks a significant administrative transition within the university's technical infrastructure department.

The formal appointment was confirmed and communicated through an official office order issued by the university. According to the administrative documentation, the directive bearing the signature of Acting Registrar Md. Hasan Mia instituted the leadership change.

Syed Jahangir Fazal assumes the responsibilities of the acting Chief Engineer on a contractual basis. The official terms of his new appointment stipulate that he will serve in this capacity for a duration of six months.

This administrative restructuring at Chittagong University was initiated following a formal application submitted by the previous incumbent. Abdul Ahad formally applied to be relieved of his duties, prompting the university authorities to grant his request and discharge him from the position of acting Chief Engineer.

With Abdul Ahad successfully relieved from his responsibilities following his application, the university administration moved forward to ensure continuity in the engineering department by appointing Syed Jahangir Fazal to take over the crucial interim role.
