Following the brazen daytime escape, local law enforcement agencies launched an immediate operation to track down the fugitive. The intensive search efforts culminated on Saturday around 12:00 PM, when officers closed in on the suspect in a specific locality within the district.
Abdul Momin was ultimately captured by the police near the Shatiantoli Bazar area, which is situated under the jurisdiction of the Sadar Upazila within the Kalia Haripur Union. Authorities confirmed that the operation was executed smoothly in this designated area, bringing an end to the brief manhunt.
