Hours later, a train derailment compounded the transportation crisis in the area, impacting locations including Rajshahi, Arani, Abdulpur, Harian, and Bagatipara.
The sequence of events led to a prolonged suspension of train movements across the affected corridor. Emergency repair and clearance work commenced immediately following the accidents.
